Hi, I'm Alyce! We are a trusted dog family ready to host your dog in our home. We host ONE dog at a time to provide personalized care for your dog. We have successfully used Rover and know what other pet owners are looking for to have peace of mind so you can enjoy your time away. I send lots of fun pics and videos. We want this experience to be stress-free for both dogs which is why we chose to host ONE dog overnight at a time. Meet and greet is required in our backyard with our dog Mookie. Mookie was made for Rover and is super chill and gets along with all dogs. Our goal is for the host dog to fit right into our family life and not feel anxious about being away from your home.

Alyce took excellent care of our dog. She was great to have us over for a meet-up prior to the stay, was very interested in getting to know our older dog's specific needs and was easy to work with. She sent daily pics / videos and a full rundown when we picked up. Highly recommend.

The dogs have free range of the house and outdoors during the day. On good weather days, we leave the back door open so the dogs can freely go in and out. Our work set up is by the back door and can monitor the dogs comings and goings. On cold days, we let the dogs out whenever they seem interested. We have a large covered porch so on rainy or hot days the dogs still have outside access.

It is helpful to know about your dog’s likes and dislikes before you board to help transition your dog. One hard pass is if your dog is a serious counter surfer our home would not be a good fit. Any stay 5 nights or more may require a test stay to ensure that a longer stay will be a good fit.
A typical day
Lots of lounging and dog play happen in our home. Mookie spends most of her days lounging in her mulch bed (she killed all the flowers) or on the back porch. She is happy to share either space with her new friends. We have 3 dog beds scattered throughout the house and Mookie does not get territorial over them.

Our single-family home with a large secure fenced-in yard will keep your dog active and safe. Mookie, our 5-year-old (mixed boxer?) is an escape artist so we have taken extra precautions with our fence. Both my husband and I work from home and have 2 teens so your dog will have lots of company and rarely be left alone.
