Pet care experience
I have lived with several dogs in my lifetime, and currently live with my lovely little husky mix, Honey. I love all dogs, and think that they are a vitally positive part of our experience in this world. I have volunteered at animal shelters, and have taken care of many different dog companions for friends and neighbors throughout my life. I am ready to take on more responsibility and care-giving! It brings me joy to care for animals, so I am always happy to be there for them. I am careful, playful, responsible, and put your dog first. I understand how important it is to be alert and attentive, always making sure that your pet is happy and healthy. Obviously, they deserve nothing less than the best care.

I have trusted Aly for years with my pets and have never been disappointed. She walks my dogs when I'm working and whenever I go away for a night or more, she house sits and watches my animals. My Border Collie, Yellow Lab, and Australian Shepard always come home happy and tired after walks with Aly, they all seem to adore her. She also does a wonderful job taking care of my dogs, cats, and fish while I am away, as well as leaving my house in perfect condition - better than when I left! I had some negative experiences with people house sitting, but never with Aly, so I'm glad to have met someone responsible who I can trust. She is a very friendly and sweet young woman who makes me life much easier.
I lived with Aly for a few years and she is responsible with all kinds of pets. She has had to take care of my own before and has always done very well. Have Aly babysit your fur-children. She will treat them like they are her own.

Unfortunately my apartment is a bit small for very large dogs, but I am open to all small to medium pups. Any behavioral tics, things that they dislike or set them off (especially dogs who were adopted later in life sometimes have triggers from previous abusive owners) - for example, I've known dogs who get uncomfortable if your face gets too close to their face, or if you pet their head. Things like that are always great to know about. And of course, let me know if they have preferred games or if they are stubborn when walking. You know your dog better than anyone! You'll know what is good information to share.
A typical day
I live close to Washington Square, where we can enjoy a walk and some playtime. My neighborhood is a calm street where we can walk and play as well.
