🐈 Irvine Cat Sitter 🐈

Pet care experience

Hi! I'm Alvina and I live in Irvine, CA. I work in project management at a video game company. I have 4 rescue cats who were adopted at different times. One of my cats was diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) in 2020, and my partner and I helped him throughout the entire 6 months of treatment and observation to full recovery. We had to inject him daily for almost 3 months and provide him with oral and ear medications throughout the treatment process. Given my experience, I am quite comfortable with providing medical accommodations to a certain extent. 😸 Completed over 1,300 drop-in cat sitting visits for happy clients 😸 Additionally insured with Pet Sitters Associates 😸 Certified in Cat and Dog First Aid with Red Cross

Alvina took impeccable care of our cats. Our usually people-shy cats adore her, which speaks volumes about her genuine love and attention to detail. We simply can't imagine entrusting anyone else with cat sitting duties!

Fabulous! I felt so much more comfortable being away from my fur babies knowing that Alvina was taking such good care of them! Thank you, Alvina! I loved the videos and pictures and daily updates.

Alvina was the first "stranger" that my 10-year old former rescue cat took an obvious liking to, twitchy tail and all! Very grateful to have found her on Rover, she made my leaving town for an extended period of time much less stressful knowing my furbaby was in good hands. Alvina was very professional and I would recommend her to anyone wanting to feel at ease when away from their pet.

Alvina is truly the best there is. We ended up having to take our cat to the vet the day before she was supposed to watch him & she offered to pick up any additional medicine that was needed once test results came back while we were out of town. She gives us so much peace of mind when traveling away from our medically high maintenance boy, we know she takes as good of care of him (if not better) as we do! Thank you, Alvina!

Information Alvina T. would like to know about your pet

Please share with me the detailed feeding instructions, special quirks or medical attention about your cats ahead of time. Does your cat tend to eat or chew certain objects that could be a choking hazard? Does your cat have asthma and can't play for too long? It's important to me that your cats stay happy and safe while you're away from home!

A typical day

I believe that playtime is extremely important to cats. It ensures that they get enough stimulation and exercise. In a 30 min drop-in visit, I will play with the cats for at least 10 mins if time allows or until they are disinterested.
