Pet care experience
Lots and lots of play time, walks, and love! My goal is to always make your dog feel comfortable, safe, and happy. I grew up caring for and helping train my family's dogs— my sisters and I even built our own agility course & trained our dogs to navigate it! I also volunteered at the local shelter for many years. Currently, I'm in a clinical psychology Ph.D. program & my research framework is learning theory, which gives me a unique perspective when working with animals. I have a flexible schedule and would love the chance to care for your pup!

Alora is amazing with my dog, Olive. She is extremely responsible and makes sure to get to my apartment to walk Olive on time, even in inclement weather. Olive is always so excited to see Alora and I feel like I can completely trust her. I am so glad that I was able to find such a wonderful dog lover to help me out while I am away for the day!

I would love to hear about anything you're working on in terms of training, you and your dog's preferences (are they active with a lot of energy to burn off, or more chill and in need of a leisurely stroll?), and how they do with other dogs, children, squirrels, etc (so I can make sure everyone stays safe on our walks). Also helps to be aware of any other quirks or needs that might be relevant during our time together!
A typical day
My dog care routine varies depending on each dog's unique needs. However, generally, I provide lots of cuddles, play-time, walks, and treats! I also love to help with training if you’re working on any tricks or skills with your dog.

Availability
I am working full time, so my availability is weekends only. However if you’re going on a weekend or day trip, I can take excellent care of your pup so you can relax and enjoy yourself!
