Pet care experience
I have 6 years of animal care experience. I have been pet sitting for years. I also have grooming experience and can complete grooms while they stay with me for an extra fee. I work at a doggie daycare so they can come to work with me! I have my own furbabies who are my life. 3 are rescues one is a 9 year old Chihuahua mix, a 6 year old beagle mix, and a 3 year old siamese cat. I also have a 3 year old bloodhound. I love all animals and do NOT breed discriminate. I will watch and care for any type of dog. I even have experience with senior and special needs dogs, as my recently passed pup Patches was 11 and I did hospice care for him for around 6 months while he was fighting cancer.. he also used a wheelchair so I'm used to those as well. I'll even watch cats, small animals/rodents, and reptiles! So hopefuly I'm good for what ever you need me to do! I enjoy talking my pets to 'sniffspots' and even dock diving. Its my first time using Rover. We have been looking for a sitter for a minute and I was able to find Almeda. I was in constant contact with her throughtout the few hours we were gone. She was very responsive with texts and photos of how my pet was doing. I would recommend using Rover again. And it was convenient too because she lived close. Thank you again.
Super awesome sitter. Good communicator. Her dogs and my dog got along famously.
Almeda is very nice and took care of our dog. We had a last minute issue and she took our dog in with no issues. We definitely would recommend Almeda to anyone and would have our dog stay again.
Almeda is very laid back and flexible. She also responds quickly. Our vacation coincided with 4th of July. Almeda offered calming treats if we thought our pups needed it to cope with fireworks. We will definitely be coming back when we need a sitter again! ?

I have extra crates for dogs that do better crated. I have plenty of toys, beds, and water bowls scattered around the house. They are free to roam whatever room I'm in, I don't like to leave pets unattended.

Just let me know of any health or behavior issues! I love all dogs so I have no preference or restrictions on breed. I only ask that they be potty trained and semi quiet.
A typical day
We will go on plenty of walks, we may even visit pet stores and the dog park! Just depends on what you're comfortable with. I also like to take my dogs to sniffspots and yours are cool to join as well. I just ask if you want them to go to sniffspots to let me know ahead and we can work out paying for your pets spots!

Availability
I work at a doggie daycare so really everyday for me is dedicated to pet care! But daily they can come to work with me and on days off we will go to parks and all sorts of places.
