I've had the great pleasure to serve the Fort Collins area for over 2 years now in pet sitting, made forever friends and met some of the most hilarious and quirky fur-friends. I've enjoyed watching all sorts of pets; rodents, amphibians, cats, dogs and reptiles so far. I've been a long time lover of animals and have rescued several since the age of 17. I've done a lot of house sitting this year which I love and I think the animals just prefer to be home so they're better behaved and can stick to a routine. I'm also a facilitator in Breathwork, Meditation and Vinyasa Yoga and spend a lot of my time practicing those things. I'm also married with a cat and dog and hope to have a bird some day.

She was awesome care taker, would defiantly recommend. She constantly updated us on our dogs. Took the time to take them out and play with them.
Alma did a great job with our Riley. He ate his meals the whole weekend which means he is a happy boy. We really appreciate the time that Alma took to get to know our family routines with Riley. We would highly recommend her!
I can't say enough about how great this woman is!!! I can't imagine life without her help! My pups' tummy was giving her fits and Alma came to our rescue! I just started a 12 hr shift and wouldn't be able to help so Alma went out of her way to get Dolly bland food and a probitotic! There is absolutely nothing more comforting knowing that she cares for her like I would while I have to be away. Thank you so much for your heart and my piece of mind Alma! Dolly and I just love you and appreciate everything you do!! ?❤️

I have no breed preferences or restrictions, I'm more concerned about the health and happiness of a dog and any possible social or general insecurities that might cause conflict. I'm not a certified dog trainer but I have a healthy understanding of behavior and body language. Being totally informed of any problems I can prepare for makes for a manageable experience, so please be honest I'm open and friendly. And please set up your Rover profile with all emergency contacts, actual number of dogs in home and veterinary information.
A typical day
If dog owners are ok with me taking their pup to local dog parks I love to socialize pups and get all that energy out. Downtown Fort Collins is a dog friendly space, about half of the businesses have doggie treats and water bowls which is welcoming. The majority of natural areas are dog friendly in Fort Collins and surrounding areas I'm happy to take pups for trail runs or walks.
