We are VERY disappointed to say the least. We have booked with Allysun once before and had a wonderful experience that stay. This time was not so pleasant, we were asked to come and pick up our dog after him being there for under an hour (due to him barking). This caused us so much stress as it was our wedding weekend, thankfully we hadn't left town or else we would have been in a much worse situation. I found Allysun to be unprofessional and unreliable as we had voiced our concerns prior to booking (mainly about her now having an intact male dog in her home- our dog has not been socialized as much due to COVID and our trips to the dog park ceased), which she ASSURED us would not be an issue as she had somewhere for her dog to stay for the period of time our dog would be in her care. I understand she lives in a townhome and has neighbours but it is very natural for anxious dogs to bark and take more than 30 minutes to settle in especially in a new environment.

Allison was very helpful boarding our 1 year puppy on short notice for 2 nights. She posted regular updates, took him on walks and even to play with another puppy at the dog park. What I liked most was that she would respond to my texts immediately, which gave us assurance that our pup was doing well. Leaving him with a loving family where he was cared for well, we did not have to worry. Would highly recommend Allison. She is an awesome dog sitter and her kids and mom join in to help out. So it’s like a doggy sleepover for your pet. Our boy came home tired and happy. Thank you Allison.
