Pet care experience
Hello, my name is Allyson. I have taken care of small dogs and big dogs. I am very patient and loving, dogs are wonderful animals that deserve all the love and respect. I am an online student who is currently in the practicum/internship phase of my degree, meaning I work 4 days out of the week (working telehealth Monday and Wednesdays & Tuesdays and Thursdays I am in the office). With me in my practicum/internship phase it doesn't allow me much flexibility with pick up/drop off times, so flexibility for drop off/pick up times works best with my current schedule. To ensure every dog is properly taken care of I will not be taking dogs who have to be taken out every 1-4 hours, this will ensure the dogs I do have will feel comfortable if I am not home for a couple hours and to ensure they feel safe and have the best stay! Furthermore, I love being active, so playing with your Dog and walking is no problem for me. I live in a split level home with a fenced in back yard, where your dog can freely run around and play while being supervised by me. I have also worked with dogs who need to take medication so if your dog has any special needs I can take care of that. Any breed of dog is fine with me, I beleive it is in the way you treat the dog, not their biological DNA. I understand and view animals as part of the family, so when they are at my house in my care I will treat them as family, with all my love, protection, and care. Cant wait to bond with your furry baby or babies!

Allyson was INCREDIBLE! She was simply fantastic and we are so incredibly grateful our dogs were in good hands with her. She sent pictures and our two large dogs looked like they were literally smiling in every photo. In addition to the amazing care she provided for our fur babies, she was so flexible. We felt horrible because our flight home from Florida was canceled. We had to extend an extra day with VERY short notice (which made me panic like crazy). She said yes. We then drove 16 hours from south FL back home and I had to change the pick up time 3 times due to hitting traffic. I would text and bump it back an hour, text again, etc. I felt so horrible doing this to her because my fiance and I genuinely are mindful of other people's time and that's not the impression we gave. She handed everything so well and was still so kind despite all of this. Thank you so much, Allyson! Pending her availability I would fully trust her with our dogs again and would gladly rebook.
My dog had a wonderful time. Allyson was flexible with my drop off/pick up schedule and sent me multiple updates throughout the stay. She showed genuine care and concerns towards the pet she is taking care of. Will definitely use her again.
Allyson was amazing as usual - super welcoming, flexible, and always sending lots of super cute pictures! We never worry for a second when our dog is with Allyson!
Allyson was incredible. This was my first time leaving my baby under her care but I can see he had a great time. She was responsive in sending daily pictures and communicating often. She understood his weird quirks and visual queues. Would definitely recommend her services.

Information that I would like to know ahead of time before hosting a dog in my house is of any quirks they may have i.e. getting into trash, drinking toilet water, chewing shoes/furniture etc.
A typical day
I love to stimulate dogs mentally and physically. If that means hiding treats in a snuffle blanket for them to search and find 'treasures' (treats) or throwing a ball or frisbee within my fenced in back yard. If the weather allows it, sometimes my husband and I go hiking where we could take your dog if physically able, to Shenandoah or for closer walks I sometimes take the dogs to Hellwig Park to walk the trails or simply around my neighborhood.

I am currently in the practicum/internship phase of my online degree. I work telehealth Mon. & Wed from home. I am in the office 9am-5pm Tues. & Thur. with my grandmother coming in on the days I am in the office to take the dog (s) outside to use the restroom. Besides myself being in the office 2 days out of the week, I don't work Fridays or weekends and when I am working telehealth from home I have plenty of time to care for and play with your furry family member.
