Hi! I'm Ally and I've lived in New York for over 10 years. I am a huge dog lover and a dog mom to my 10 year old long haired dachshund, Ruxin. We love meeting and spending time with other dogs and going on walks around the city or by the river. Ruxin and I currently live in the west part of soho (formally Hudson Square)

Ally was so amazing! Roo was obsessed with her and still tries to pull me to her apartment. She gave Roo lots of love and cuddles while making sure she had enough walks and clean paws. I also love Ally! She was communicative, flexible and pleasant to work with. I really recommend booking with her.
This was our first time leaving Moana with a rover and we were both very nervous. Allyson did a fantastic job, and we couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter! She was very communicative throughout the entire stay, sending cute snippets of their day together along with pictures and videos! Moana had a blast going on long walks with Allyson and her puppy, Allyson went out of her way to make sure to take care of Moana the way we would do so. Definitely would recommend her to anyone looking to watch their fur baby!!

My home environment is relaxed and welcoming to dogs with plenty of toys, beds, crates (for dogs under 20lbs) and plush blankets to snuggle on. Ruxin is an easy going dog and will likely sniff then mind his own business - he's a great co-exister but usually won't be up for longer moments of play. We live in an apartment building that has an enclosed courtyard that is dog friendly. On walks, we can walk around the city, around your favorite park or stroll alongside the Hudson river. Safety is my #1 priority ensuring they don't eat things off the ground, making sure harnesses/collars are secure, and keep an out for other dogs passing by.

Let me know if your dog has special needs or behaviors that need to be accounted for (triggers, anxiety, how long can your pet be left alone for, resource guarding etc.) I prefer dogs that are well socialized given that I have a dog myself!
A typical day
I love going on walks throughout the city, running errands together (if your pet feels comfortable in stores), and sitting on the grass in Hudson River park. If it's a nice day out, I love taking dogs out to restaurants to people watch. If your dog is up for it, I love playing tug of war or fetch with whatever plush toy your pup may gravitate towards!

Availability
I work from home as a digital marketer and can be flexible with yours and your pets schedules. I regularly do 2 feedings and go on 3 walks a day with my own pup but I'm happy to accommodate your pets eating/walking/playing schedule and habits as well.
