Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Ally and I currently work at UPMC as a surgical neurophysiologist. I started working with Rover in 2020 while I was attending University of Pittsburgh studying neuroscience and psychology. Despite working during the week, I still care for animals over the weekend and sometimes during the week as long as their potty schedule fits into my work hours. I have experience administering medicine (both orally and via injections) and caring for animals with seizures if your animal needs some extra care. I'm very active and love taking long walks, and walks are always more fun with furry company! I recommend looking at my references to see my many happy clients!

Ally house-sat for me watching my dog and two cats. She went above and beyond in every way! She checked in with me everyday, sending pictures and reassuring me all was well. She even dropped my dog at daycare one day so he could get some extra social time. I told her she didn’t need to really do anything for the cats but she ended up cleaning the litter for me anyway! She also Swiffered the floor and washed the sheets she used which was absolutely not expected at all! I came home to a sparkling house and happy pets! I was thrilled with her work and cannot wait to hire her again! 20/10 recommend!!
Ally has been helping watch Archie since we first got him around October/November. When Ally commits to you and your pet, she doesn’t back out. You can feel comfortable that your pet will be well taken care of. Allyson goes above and beyond, she recently took Archie for a 1 mile walk to the park (something even mommy and daddy haven’t got around to do yet) where he met a bunch of new friends. My fiancé and I can enjoy our time away and feel Archie is safe and happy. I can see how much he loves Ally in the pics and videos she shares to keep us updated on our little guy. I honestly feel like I know her well without ever actually meeting her in person. I just always had a good vibe since day 1. :-) She left our house in the exact shape it was when we left after staying there for the weekend. thanks Ally for loving our fuzzy sweet boy as much as we do! We look forward to having your help and continuing watching Archie grow. 10 out of 10 recommend. ⭐️

I do not have breed preferences. I am comfortable with all breeds! I would like to know your dogs favorite activities to do and anything that they do not like, i.e., pets on a certain part of their body, etc.
A typical day
My typical day with the dogs I watch varies greatly. I watch some dogs who are very old and are most comfortable lounging around inside. However, I also watch younger dogs who have hiked with me for 5+ miles. It all depends on your dog's preferences!

I am currently working full time during the week with my day beginning at 6AM. My shifts range from 8-12 hours, and I usually have my schedule a few weeks in advance. I am flexible and willing to work with you and your animal to create a perfect fit!
