I have owned dogs for most of my life, and I currently have two Siberian Huskies that require a lot of walking and playtime! I am no stranger to long walks, and I greatly enjoy walking around this area and would love to bring your dog along. I am happy to come visit with your dog while you are away so they are not lonely, and I can also walk them to get rid of some of that happy dog energy for you as well. I am able to maintain whichever rules you prefer for your dog, so you don't have to worry about them picking up different habits from different handlers. I will give your dog(s) the full attention they deserve whenever I am with them. I will gladly take photos of your pet(s) as we walk or I check in on them to give you peace of mind and hopefully brighten your day as well! I am trained in veterinary medicine, so I am able to administer most forms of medication and shots. I know how to safely handle your animals. I always strive for a stress-free and happy interaction with animals and their natural instincts.

Allysa was the perfect pet sitter! She met our pets before hand and we walked through everything food & care wise. We had Allysa look after our pets for 2 weeks with multiple visits per day. While we were away we didn't have any worries about her taking care of our 3 pets (2 cats & 1 small dog). She gave us updates every day and super cute pictures. I would highly recommend Allysa to anyone!
Alyssa was fantastic! Huxley bonded with her right away and she was punctual and took great care of him. She even watered our plants for us. We’d definitely book her again!

I do not have any breed preferences, but as I have two huskies of my own I absolutely love hanging out with more huskies! I would prefer that the dog be leash trained, but can work with stubborn personalities just fine. I enjoy arranging a meet and greet before I come to walk your pup so we can all get to know each other, and also so your dog will be comfortable with me coming and taking them out. I love to know how and where you usually walk your dog, so I can make sure your dog is comfortable and happy. Please let me know if your dog is reactive or aggressive to anything, so I can best make sure they can avoid negative interactions with those particular things. Every dog is different, and just because they are nervous around certain things doesn't mean they can't safely enjoy a walk outside!
A typical day
I am happy to walk around your neighborhood where your dog is comfortable with its surroundings. On average I can make 1.5 miles in the 30 minute period that Rover requests if we don't spend too much time smelling the roses. I am happy to extend or shorten this amount that is appropriate for your dog. If your dog prefers fetch, I am a fetch master. I have ample experience in throwing the ball for long periods of time for dogs.
