I grew up always having dogs in the home and was responsible for their general care. In recent years, I've worked at multiple dog daycares and a humane society, volunteered as a dog walker & dog trainer for a couple rescue organizations/shelters. Throughout my work & volunteer experiences, I learned how to care for dogs who are old, sick, fearful, shy, etc. I'm also able to give oral medication, as needed. I am currently working on my Dog Training Certification through online studies while working hands-on with other experienced Dog Trainers. At the end of my studies I'll be certified in Pet CPR & 1st Aid, Pet Diet & Nutrition, as well as further knowledge on handling shelter dogs. I have two rescue dogs of my own: Meeko, a 4 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback/Terrier Mix & Jaxx, a 3 year old Catahoula Leopard Dog/Plott Hound Mix. Both work well with other dogs, including smaller breeds & puppies, and are around 55lbs each.
