Pet care experience
We are Ally & David, a dog-loving couple with two pups of our own. We know how hard it can be to find a dog sitter you trust, so we like to offer the peace of mind that comes with knowing your fur baby will be loved and having fun while you are at work or out of town! We work from home so your pup will always have company and we have a totally fenced back yard so there is plenty of supervised outside access for play time and potty breaks. We also have two dogs of our own who love to play with other dogs or just hang out if that's what your pup is into. They are used to having new dogs around between our Rover friends and occasional foster dogs (Rover & fostering don't overlap though). Dogs are part of our family and we'd love your pup to join! Such a fantastic stay for Ruby! Great communication and clearly care deeply for the dogs in their care. Can't wait to be back soon! Oh, and she even smelled better at pick up than when I left her! ☺️
Ally and Dave were so great! Our dog Bentley loved being there with them. Having them work from home and be home was so awesome and helped make our pup be very comfortable being away from his home. They stayed in great communication with us and gave us daily updates. They followed his normal daily schedule.

If dogs are staying with us, we have a fenced yard and two friendly resident dogs to hang out with. If we are coming to a client's home, we'll work within the pet's normal schedule in the space where they feel the most comfortable, their home! We are experienced Rover sitters as well as dog foster parents, so we are used to interacting with all kinds of dogs, from puppies to seniors, nervous to life of the party and everything in between. We've got a senior dog of our own who has some special medication needs, so we are familiar with oral medication distribution as well as injections if needed. It would be rare to encounter a dog situation that we haven't seen before, and we love them all!

A typical day
We live on a busier road, but very close to the river path for nice walks. We also have a fenced back yard for play time and potty breaks and plenty of toys to keep pups occupied. We can completely tailor the activities to your dog's energy level and preferences!

Availability
We both work from home and have fairly flexible schedules Monday-Friday. If pups are staying at our home, they'll have company and multiple opportunities for potty breaks and play time throughout the day. We are usually done working by 3 pm and have evenings free for walks, play time, or Netflix on the couch... whatever your pup prefers!
