More Than Just A Walk!
Pet care experience
From puppies to seniors, I have had lots of experience taking care of dogs for friends, family, and neighbors for over ten years. I have spent some time volunteering at the local dog shelter as well! In terms of recent experience, we had a new addition to our family about two years ago (6 m.o. lab/pit mix) so the puppy energy is not faded from my memory. I have attended lots of formal puppy training classes and am well equipped with knowledge for high energy puppies that require special attention! I regularly dog-sit a senior dog and I have a senior lab myself. I enjoy spending time with dogs and am willing to fit their needs, whether it be running in the yard playing fetch or cuddling up with them on the couch. I promise to love on your dog as much as I would on my own!

Ally is awesome. She is the first person we contact when going out of town. She is our favorite pet sitter for our three cats. She is reliable, thorough and we trust her with the keys to our home.
Ally did a wonderful job pet-sitting Rosie, our beagle mix, whenever we went away on vacation and couldn't take her with us. When we came back from vacation, Rosie always looked happy and healthy. Ally lives across the street from us, and Rosie always gave her a big greeting whenever she saw her, so I could tell they were good buddies. My wife and I always enjoyed ourselves on vacation, knowing that Rosie was getting great care from Ally.

I can abide by strict schedules/rules or lenient ones; after years of experience, I am skilled at reading dogs and what they may be trying to communicate in case I'm not given super specific instructions. Whatever makes you and your pet feel the most comfortable is what I am willing to accomplish!

A typical day
I love spending time outside, so as long as the weather is good I'll probably be outside with your pup whenever possible! Depending on the area, my favorite parks are Chattahoochee Pointe, Caney Creek, and Sims Park where we can walk around/go to a dog park if he/she/they are social. I also run daily at the Big Creek Greenway, so if your dog(s) is up for it I would love to take him/her/them along with me; if your pup is a fan of car rides, I would not be opposed to having them tag along on a drive thru adventure!

Availability
I work a serving job part-time, so I will be away for about five hours a day depending on if I am scheduled or not. Feel free to contact me to inquire about specific days/times you might be in need for, and we can go from there! My goal is to make you as comfortable as possible while your pet is in my care, and I will do the best I can to work with your needs and preferences.
