Pet care experience
I adopted a cat about a year ago who is my full-time travel buddy. He's leash-trained, and I've learned so much about patience, meeting an animal where they're at, and being cued into their behavior and what it means. Before adopting Simon, I'd been an animal caretaker for about 10 years prior. Whether that's professionally taking care of them, or just informally giving a furry friend some loving, I can never stay away from them for too long! I’ve lived and worked on a few farms in France, Norway, and the US with a vast array of animals. Donkeys, horses, cats, dogs, chickens, goats, sheep, cows, kids (haha!), you name the animal and I’ve probably cared for it. I do well with dogs who can get a little too excited when walking on leash (like 100+ lb dogs who just smelt a tasty bunny!). Have a cat? I can coax even the most timid cats out of hiding and run around chasing lizards with your leash-trained cat. I'm excited to meet your love and give them SO much loving while you're away. Treats, toys, playtime, smooches, exercise, here we come!

Ally is simply fantastic... I have been completely pleased with her & she’s simply wonderful... she’s my main go to dog sitter & walker when I am working my 12 hour shifts or I’m out of town. I highly recommend her!
Ally is fantastic! Our Lab was in good hands.
Ally is simply amazing with my dog. She has the best personality & she is so caring & energetic. She treats my dog like her own & I would trust her with anything! She is simply a truly unique, smart, & caring person! She has an outstanding personality & always has a smile on her face. My dog loves her! I would give her 10 stars if I could!
Ally was quick to reply, professional throughout and gracious when I had to cancel the reservation due to, too many car troubles last minute. You can tell she takes this job of taking care of your pets very seriously yet keeps interactions easy and fun. Her questions about my dogs needs were thorough which always makes you feel better about leaving your pups behind. Look forward to booking her again next time a trip is planned with a healthy car! :)

Being blessed with strong arms and good core muscles, I can handle dogs who are a little too enthusiastic on walks. I am no match for a dog's prey drive for bunnies!! I'll make sure that their harness is properly fitted, we walk in a safe location, they don't get overheated/cold, and they’re having fun. And door-dashers? No way! No one escapes me. I'll watch for signs of anxiety and provide comfort and safety as needed. I know firsthand how scary it is to leave your pet with someone, so you can be rest assured I’ll do everything I can to keep them safe and happy.
Information Ally M. would like to know about your pet
How do they get along with other dogs and little kids? Are they super energetic and prefer long walks, or are they more into shorter walks and cuddles? Do they have any favorite treats, places to be pat, or specific routines that they're used to? How about commands that they know? For cats, are they sociable? Energetic? What's their favorite toy? I want to know it all!
A typical day
I love pretending like I'm a dog, so at any given time I'll probably be laying on the floor with your pooch giving him some belly rubs, or squatting puppy-bow style. Cheese hide-and-go seek is another fan favorite (especially during hotter weather), as well as frolicking through the hose and cooling off with some frozen peanut butter. I love exploring new areas on walks and especially love running into a water fountain with a little doggy-bowl at the bottom. Treats, belly rubs, and activity will always be plentiful. For kitties, I will mostly likely try to get your cat to play with me (I firmly believe that many behavior problems can be aided by play). If they're afraid, I will offer them treats and a gentle finger to be sniffed. If they're leash-trained, you better bet we'll be exploring something nearby! Because I have a leash-trained cat, I'm extremely sensitive to what environments are good to explore, so I'll be sure to pick something your pet is comfortable with.
