You're leaving town for whatever reason, let your pup go on vacation too! I have a small dog in my home and he and his late brother have helped me baby sit for dogs as small as 8 pounds up to their English mastiff buddy who weighed in at about 170! We live by Druid Park so that's where we'll do our walks together and I have a small back yard for the morning and bedtime pees and poops. I will take dogs of all sizes and ages but ask that they be house trained (or crated if I have to leave for an extended time) as I do have a security deposit that I would very much like to get back if I move. I offer free pick-up and drop-off within a 5 mile radius. Cat care available! Full pricing and service rates available upon request. About Me: I am an artist (MICA grad) who lives in the city with my mini-poodle, Rodney. He loves having dog friends stay with us. I teach at CCBC (I am the lead instructor for the Professional Animal Workers certificate program in my department) and I also walk dogs in south Baltimore with Brazen Tails (google us for info on our company and to see who I am at my day job). I babysit pups "on the side," and am a certified Pet CPR+ Instructor with Pet Emergency Education, so you know your pet is in safe and experienced hands with me! (I'm also working on some other certifications and I will update here as I complete them) I can bring your dog to my home or I can house sit for you as well. Some people prefer to keep their dog in his/her environment and for dogs who get nervous easily this may be a better option. For multiple-dog households, I always sit at their house as I have a dog in my home and 3 or more would be overwhelming for everyone involved. I have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes and needs. Elderly, medication-dependent, and special needs dogs are all welcome! I am trained in administering oral medications, SQ injections and blood sugar testing on both dogs and cats.
