I was born into a military family, so of course we moved a lot, and we always had dogs, cats, and various reptiles, so I've had a lot of experience with traveling with animals. Now I am self employed so I'm almost always home. I have an 11 year old female lab named Sadie, a daughter in elementary school (Lilly), and an awesome husband (Andrew) who is going back to school soon but will be home most of the time as well. Our old girl is on heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives, up to date on shots, etc, and our home has been treated as well. She's very well behaved, alone and around other dogs, she just wants to be everyone's mommy regardless of their species. Our daughter is also very good with animals, she's very gentle and playful and loves to help out with feeding, bathing, walking, and most of all cuddling. My husband has successfully trained many dogs, both for a living and on his own time, we both keep our babies spoiled all the time, including his Aussie when he comes to visit (he's still young and likes to be with his sister because our lab doesn't play much). We can't have any more permanent pets right now, but we love visitors and slumber parties any day of the week!
