Pet care experience
I’ve been petsitting in homes and for drop in visits for the past 16 years. I could never have pets as a child so I have enjoyed caring for other’s pets since I was 12 or so! I currently work in the veterinary field as a receptionist. I love being able to meet new critters and help care for them in and out of the clinic. I treat “fur babies” as if they are my own. I have two cats at home, Albus and Odysseus, whom I love dearly, but are both independent. That means watching other people’s dogs overnight is never a problem! I also love to walk and hike and I’m always looking for a four legged critter to go with! If they would rather enjoy some couch potato time I’m also a large Netflix fan! I have experience with dogs of all ages and most needs, including medication administration.

Allison was amazing! She went out of her way to come over twice for meet and greets to put my mind at ease before we left. She communicated very well and sent us updates and pictures. I would definitely rebook with her.
Allison did a great job with Bindi. She communicated very well and went the extra mile to meet with us to understand Bindi’s needs. She was always on time, trustworthy, and very dependable. I would highly recommend Allison for pet or house sitting and we would definitely hire her again.
Allison did a very good job with Nessa, our 7 yr old Border Collie mix. She was patient with her and worked around Nessa's med schedule. I would definitely recommend her.
Allison is an attentive and caring pet sitter. Every time we leave we know that our German shepherd pup is in great hands. He is young and skittish and Allison is very knowledgeable about the breed, getting to know him slowly, so he felt comfortable. She is also communicative and reliable. If you are considering booking her, do it!

A typical day
I love going on hikes, so if your dog is dog is up for it we can do short or long walks on trails (if they’re on flea/tick prevention!) and if not, the neighborhood is always just as good with so many smells to keep their mind busy! I also love utilizing puzzles for treats and or feeding.
