Pet care experience
With 10+ years of experience, your pet will be loved and treated with care! Growing up, I was that kid who added “puppy” to the bottom of my mom’s weekly shopping list. It worked! I’ve owned border collies and a golden retriever. I’ve worked with a variety of breeds, sizes, and temperaments, and dog sat occasionally during my college days. To new and returning guests, as of January 2024, my husband and I welcomed a baby girl to our family. While we have a lot of experience with reactive/aggressive pet care, we are preferring guests who do well around children. While your pet will never be left unsupervised, we are working to navigate Rover with a new family member.

Really nice people! Sent pictures with reports on my best friend’s stay. Did lots of his favorite things: walks, ball,his tricks for treats and other fun games. He was given scratches and loves, This was so much better than boarding my buddy to have him spend the weekend in a crate. I will definitely use these Allison again. ❤️❤️❤️??????. Allison and Jack were great! We got lots of updates and pictures during our pups stay. They spoiled him and loved him like their own! He didn’t want to leave.
Allison did an amazing job of caring for our pups! They absolutely loved spending time with her and hated to see her go. I also really appreciate Allison being so accommodating with scheduling and being very dependable.

I am 2 blocks away from some of the best walking trails in the area. Clean dog parks are nearby. I don’t have a fenced in yard, so your pet will be tethered or leashed when taken outside. I am home full time and don’t currently have any pets which means more time to focus on giving your pet the quality attention and love they deserve! I’m here because I love all animals (especially dogs) and understand how important your pet is to you. We will set up our home in whatever way is needed to accommodate our guests to ensure that they have a comfortable stay that fits their needs. With dogs and their sleeping arrangements, it depends on if you crate or if they are comfortable outside of their crate. I can accommodate both options.

Does your pet have any allergies? Are there any behaviors such as resource guarding that we should we aware of? (I have dealt with extreme resource guarding behaviors in the past and know what to look for. It is just easier to know up front.) Do you have any special requests I should know about such as administering medication? How does your pet do with other people? Is your pet scared of anything that we should avoid?
A typical day
The Fred Meijier Flat River trails are my absolute favorite places to walk. My husband and I are walking or biking these trails at least 3-4 times a week so I am well acquainted with the area. There’s also a fantastic dog park just up the road from us where your pet can run free. I’m good at matching your pets energy levels and am here to cater to their needs. Whether it’s going for a walk and stopping for all the smells, or relaxing on the couch and getting some good scratches, I’m your girl.

My schedule is extremely flexible - I work part-time from home which means more time to spend with your best friend! No matter what energy level your pet is at, we can keep up with them! You can be confident that they will be loved and treated like family.
