Sucker for the snugglers & seniors!

Pet care experience

I couldn't wait to get my own dog, so my senior year of college I adopted an elderly lab to live with my 4 roommates off campus. She soon became a beloved pet to other students, some who I didn't even know. They'd ask to walk her or visit with her when they were missing their own pet back home. Everyone adored Jazzie Lab. Sadly, she developed an aggressive cancer, but I am so grateful I could bless her with an abundant 1.5 years. I believe that caring for pets and children is our responsibility to one another. When our circle is unavailable to help us, I feel finances should not cause more stress! I'm hoping this can be affordable for you. I already have two dogs. What's one or two more? I want to offer you peace of mind and a home away from home for your dog, while you are busy vacationing or working hard to put kibble in their bowl. I work a hybrid role - 3 days working at home and 2 days in the office (Wed and Thur - 6 minutes away). I have an hour lunch break, which I use to check in with my own dogs and allow them some exercise time. I have a fenced in yard (4ft) in a quiet neighborhood. I have 2 crates and cozy dog beds to meet your needs. All dogs are fed in separate spaces to ensure safety. THE SAFETY OF MY CHILDREN is incredibly important to me. I have two kids (3.5 and 9) and two dogs (3 and 13). If your dog is not comfortable around little kids OR dogs, please disclose this or move on to a more appropriate sitter. My kids will always come before income or hobbies.

Allison is an animal lover for sure. She took time on her drop in visits to give attention to our cat and check on food and water and sent me updates and photos. Would certainly use again.

Thanks so much for helping us very last minute so we could enjoy our time in Holland! Allison was so kind and down to earth, I felt very comfortable leaving my puppy Baymax in her care :) her dogs were so friendly as well! Baymax had fun, was happy at drop off and pickup, and came home exhausted. I got pics and updates in the short time I was gone, too, which was great. Glad he could have his own fun while us humans had some :)

Information Allison V. would like to know about your pet

- Is your dog fond of children? - Where does your dog feel most comfortable sleeping? - Temperament and socialization of your dog. I am open to "stigmatized" breeds (pit bulls, rotties, etc) so long as their history indicates they are safe around people, children, well behaved in a multi-dog setting, etc..... the same applies to chihuahuas and golden retrievers! - Does your dog have negative behaviors or bad habits? (Jumping, eating socks, digging)... P.S. It's ok, I have a recovering pillow eater ::wink:: And, even the most well-mannered dogs sometimes surprise me with a little digging. - What rules should I be respectful of? No dog on couch, sit before passing thru a door, etc) - Can your dog easily clear a 4 ft fence?

A typical day
