Spoiling Your Pup Just Like Our Own

My husband and I both grew up with dogs and now have an energetic puppy, Nellie, that recently joined our family. For those who have booked with us previously, we unfortunately had to say goodbye to our sweet girl, Izzy, after a hard fought battle against cancer. Living away from family and friends, we have relied on Rover to help us find trustworthy people to care for our pup when we are traveling out of state. We know how stressful it can be to find the perfect match to watch your dog when having to travel, so we would like to offer the same reliable and safe dog sitting services to others that we look for when scheduling someone to watch our dog! We are comfortable with caring for all types of dogs or puppies with a variety of needs. Our first dog has had her own share of medical needs, so we are capable of attending to the medical needs of your dog.

Allison and Tim were absolutely amazing! They took great care of Mo and sent us pictures and updates throughout our trip. They were so loving and made Mo feel right at home. We will definitely be having lots of Mo and Nellie playdates and are so happy we've found a great home away from home for Mo for all of our future trips!
Allison & Tim were amazing to my little Ellie. They sent pictures, kept her safe, and Ellie had plenty of playtime. I could tell Ellie LOVED it there!
Allison and Tim took such wonderful care of our dog Stanley. We were so nervous to leave him with a Rover over the holidays, but they went above and beyond to love on Stan and make sure he felt at home. He was quickly comfortable with them and their home and we knew he was in good hands. We received multiple photo updates each day which was awesome. Stanley would be thrilled to stay at Allison and Tim's again in the future, and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a pet sitter. Thank you Allison and Tim!

We do have a fenced yard that Nellie would love to have a friend chase her around! My husband does go for runs daily, so your dog is welcome to join to him otherwise I’d be happy to take your dog for a walk around the neighborhood if that is more their speed! On the weekends, we do enjoy going for hikes or hanging out at a brewery and would love for your dog to join us! We do request your pet be crate-trained for times when we are away during the day, however, it will be rare that your pup will need to be crated for long periods of the day since my husband primarily works from home. We will notify you if my husband does have to go to a job site and provide an estimate of how long your pup may need to be in the crate.

Please provide details about feeding schedule, potty schedule, how your dog interacts with other dogs, any medications your dog may take, and any other important details that are necessary to keep your dog’s routine as similar to at home. At this time, we are only able to accept dogs that are crate-trained. We also request a Meet and Greet before accepting any new dogs, so unfortunately we may not be able to accommodate last minute requests.
A typical day
Your pup will be taken for walks or a run daily around the neighborhood, whatever your pup most enjoys! Nellie always has the wiggles and would love a friend to romp around in the yard to burn some energy! On weekends, we would love to be able to take your pup for a longer walk or hike near Horsetooth or Lory State Park. In the summer, we love to go down to the reservoir in order to cool off in the water!

Availability
My husband and I have variable work schedules. I work in the hospital setting, so typically have 1-2 days off during the week. My husband primarily works from home, but does occasionally have to visit job sites. When he does have to leave for a job site, he is typically gone for half the day. We would prefer dogs that are able to be home alone for at least 4 hours at a time, unless we are able to confirm that my husband does not have to travel for work during the time your dog is with us.
