Hello! I'm Allison, I have grown up with animals and love animals of all types--but dogs are my favorite! I live in Riverbend area near Oak St. and have fostered lots of adoptable pups. In July 2014 I actually adopted a foster dog, a mini-pitbull mix named Abira. She loves to have doggy friends over for play time! We also have an older pit mix named Bumble who is a Canine Good Citizen and enjoys having dog friends over (even though she's usually napping through it). We do dog parks, we do hiking, we do long walks, we do cuddling; whatever it is that you're make your pup feel at home while you're away, we're happy to do it! We have a small fenced yard and also regular walks for our own pups. I do work 9-5 but am able to have my boyfriend who is in and out give mid day potty breaks. It's likely best you have a crate or know the pup can be left closed in my bedroom, just to be safe as we do have a cat (so unfortunately we can't welcome any pups in that have a super high prey drive since our apartment isn't huge enough to keep everyone separate for long periods). We have no breed restrictions and are more than welcoming to dogs of all breeds. We do request only dogs that are able to get along with (or at least tolerate) other dogs, as our own pooches will be around. I promise to treat your dog like it was my own and give it all of the love and snuggles it deserves. In addition to bringing your pup into my home for petsitting, I'm happy to travel to your home so your furry friends get to stay in their familiar spaces while you're gone and still get all the love and attention they deserve! I work from approximately 9-5 daily, so I'm best for dogs that have a mid-day walker already or who do not require a mid-day walk. Dog park trips, long walks, medicine--whatever the routine may be, I'm happy to keep it up for you! We also have a huge respect for and understanding of how many dogs have special quirks that may need special attention or care, and I'm happy to accommodate.
