Hey there! I have been a dog owner for 6 years, cat owner for 20, and animal lover my entire life. I worked closely to support Mile High Lab Mission (dog rescue) and fostered rescue dogs when I lived in CO for many years. I fostered puppies, adults, and disabled/HW+/overweight/blind dogs. I am frequently called on by friends to help care for their animals when they are traveling and I genuinely love doing it. I have experience giving injectable, oral, and topical medication to both dogs and cats and the occasional reptile. I treat each pet like my own! My pets are my best friends. I learn what commands they know and how their owners reinforce them. I learn what type of contact is ok with the pet (especially cats) and take my time getting to know them. I inquire about treats - are they ok? are there any allergies? - and follow up with owners if I see anything unusual. If I'm doing drop ins for your cat, I'm happy to do the extra little things while you're away like getting the mail, taking out the trash on trash day, etc. I send photos to owners daily and am very reliable. Let's be honest, pictures are the most important part, right?! I hope you'll give me the opportunity to meet your fur friend!

I have watched several training videos on dog CPR and have a first aid kit for my dog that we take with us on hikes. We keep Benadryl, a tick key, and Animax in the house just in case. I would absolutely do my best in any situation to conduct first aid on any pet in need. Rover does not require any certification when selecting "yes, I know CPR and basic pet first aid", and I didn't feel comfortable selecting "yes" knowing that I am not trained one-on-one by a professional.

It's really helpful for me to have the following info to ensure your babe has the most comfortable visit: -Feeding schedule -Bathroom schedule -Medications/medical needs (HW+? medication allergies?) -Food allergies (i.e. don't give your dog a pup cup because it upsets their tummy) -Your vet info -Behavioral notes (i.e. your dog is afraid of/barks at kids, your dog doesn't do well with big dogs, your dog loves to chew on shoes)

I am flexible and will do whatever you need to keep your pet happy while you're away! Please note I am not currently accepting new boarding clients.
