I grew up taking care of dogs ever since I convinced my parents to let me have one at the age of 7. The only way to get a dog was to take responsibility which included feeding her, walking her, picking up after her, and training her. I learned from my precious dog that dogs need and deserve attention, love, and time outside. Having taken care of my dog growing up helps me be prepared for this job. I also walk my parents dog and my old roommates dogs. My old roommate was always busy and did not have the time to be around every weekend for the dogs. She would have me watch them for her overnight, take them for walks, and feed them medications that they needed. I have recently stopped being around dogs as much since moving and I notice there is something missing. With my passion for dogs, being active, and the outdoors I thought this would be the perfect opportunity for me to help myself and others.
