Pet care experience
I have multiple years of experience caring for dogs and cats in both professional and personal environments. I worked at a vet clinic for several years assisting the veterinarian with many procedures and caring for the boarding animals. I then went on to work at a doggy daycare and boarding facility where my love for studying dog behavior blossomed. I learned to groom and currently provide fear free grooming services focusing on the well being of every dog I meet. I’ve also fostered many dogs and cats over the years and volunteered for rescues and shelters. I am able to read body language and provide many different options for each pet to ensure a stress free stay. I can also monitor for any health conditions and alert you if I notice any concerns. I have three amazing dogs who love welcoming new dogs into our home and showing them the routines. They have helped me rehabilitate anxious rescue dogs, comfort blind dogs, and teach puppies how to be the best possible dog.

Allison did an amazing job watching our dog & cat while we were on vacation for two weeks. She sent photo updates letting us know how they were doing & replied promptly whenever we checked in. Our dog loved her dogs! We will definitely use Allison for pet sitting again in the future.
Allison did a great job with Gracey. I know Gracey is high energy and demanding. I'm sure it helped having other dogs to play with.
Allison was amazing - she went above and beyond for my dogs’ first time being ‘boarded’ and managing their unique quirks. If we can call curbing unexpected marking a quirk - more like training!! She introduced them to her dogs safely and the four of them matched up for the week and played like crazy! Looking forward to working with her in the future and having a trusted home for my dogs while I’m out of town.
I was so grateful for Allison to board my dogs with only a few days notice. When dropping off, I could tell my dogs felt comfortable with her. She sent updates and photos during their stay, and I loved being able to see how happy they were with her. Allison will be my top choice next time I need to board Wally and Winston!

I have a fully fenced in back yard to provide potty breaks and daily play time. I do not leave guest dogs outside unattended. I also have 3 very friendly dogs so your pup has some friends while they are with me. I have a full service grooming salon that I work out of in my house, so while I’m working my dogs and guest dogs will need to be crated in my dog room. All dogs are also crated during meal time, if I need to leave the house, and when I am unable to supervise them. They don’t spend much time in crates, but I feel it’s is the best way to keep all of the pups safe in those situations. I have a designated room for visiting cats and only accept one cat/family of cats at a time. Kitties can either stay in their room or hangout with the rest of the house, depending on their preferences and length of the stay. Either way, they will receive plenty of attention! Ask me about adding a bath, nail trim, or full service groom to pamper your pet while they are here.

A typical day
I like to cater my activities to each individual dog. My personal dogs enjoy sniffing out in the yard (typical hounds!), fetch, and playing with each other. When we are inside they are couch potatoes, so we spend a lot of time cuddling on the couch. I will be happy to accommodate your pup’s favorite activity!

Availability
I work from home part time, so I am available for potty breaks, lunch time feedings, and play time during my breaks throughout the day! Weekends are typically spent playing in the yard with my dogs and lounging on the couch.
