Hi! We are Allison and Mitchell, and we're what you call major "dog people". We are pretty active and look forward to bringing your pooch to a nearby park and playing fetch in the yard! Frisbee is our favourite, and we give a couple of mean belly rubs. Our pup Finn is a young golden doodle, super friendly guy who loves to play and run around with other dogs. We look forward to welcoming your pup into our home and offering them a relaxing and fun stay-cation! Right now we are looking for pups to join us on weekends, when we are home all day to play and snuggle. Dogs will be supervised all day friday-sunday. We have a large home with a gorgeous fully fenced yard in Old Strathcona. We are a short walk from both the River Valley and Mill Creek Ravine!

Allison was so great with our pup Molly! She sent plenty of pictures, asked questions to help deal with her separation anxiety, and went above and beyond to make Molly and myself comfortable! Molly came home happy and tired from the walks and playtime with Finn. We are so appreciative!!!
Allison and her dog, Finn were great! Our dog Griffin had a great time and was treated as part of the family. We received daily pictures and communication was very prompt. Drop off and pick up were smooth. It was extremely hot during the days Griffin was with them and Allison ensured the dogs were staying cool and taken care of. I am sure Griffin and Finn will be hanging out again!
Allison & her household were such a great experience. We left Arthur for the weekend and it was completely stress free! Initially we were nervous about the whole situation but after doing a meet & greet all of our fears were calmed. Allison, Mitchell & Finn where all great. They have a lovely home with a playful dog and lots of love & attention to spare. We received the occasional update throughout the weekend of all of Arthur’s fave napping spots. He even had fun getting his zoomies out with their dog Finn. When we picked up Arthur he was happy but not desperate to see us. We actually had to coax him out of there. We got our dog back happy, healthy and well cared for. Cannot recommend this home enough! We are already dreaming about our next trip…

We really just need to know the basics. Behavioural issues, not being house trained, doesn't get along well with other dogs, if the owners aren't comfortable having their dog off leash in fenced off areas... things that would change what we plan for the dogs stay!
A typical day
Finn is quite active, so we love going for walks and playing fetch in the yard. If your pup has reliable recall there are a couple off leash parks nearby as well! Once the doggos are tired, we love couch snuggles and some chill time.
