Pet care experience
I've loved all animals my whole life and will give my total attention to your dog when I'm with them! I had a boxer for 11 years along with other pets, and I was a volunteer at the Oregon humane society for 5 years where I took workshops on dog body language, training & grooming and I have lots of experience with all breeds- especially with shy dogs or dogs with behavior issues. I've also taken several college courses on biology and animal behavior. I only believe in positive reinforcment and love! I can also take your dog running, provide grooming or work on training. If I'm staying with your dog I can also water plants, etc. or take care of other pets in the house! I have experience owning/caring for cats (including diabetic and special needs), chickens, chinchillas, rats, fish, hamsters, rabbits, rats, guinea pigs and horses, and would be happy to learn how to care for any other type of animal you may have.

Really pleased with our experience with Allison. My dogs were happy and relaxed when we got home. None of the anxiety that can happen is they are neglected. It was very obvious Allison had met all of their needs. Sent photos and updates on the dogs every day. Allison insisted on meeting us when we arrived home and gave a full report. A typical day
For house sitting, I can do whatever your dog(s) enjoy doing or things you would like me to do with them, including grooming, working on training, going to dog parks or walks/hikes on nature trails. For drop-in visits I will make sure to spend lots of time socializing with your dog, or do whatever they like such as playing ball. For walks I prefer to just walk near your house. On walks for safety reasons (since they are not my dog) I will never take your dog off leash even if you normally do.
