EmBARK on a fun-filled sitting!

Pet care experience

INTRO: Hello! I am a full time Environmental Engineering Consultant and currently pursuing my MBA degree. All my life I've had at least one dog under my care from its puppy days. Growing up I had two outdoor dogs, one of which was the same age as me and lived up to 15 years old. Right before college another puppy was brought into my life. He is now an indoor and outdoor dog. All throughout college I've helped take care of indoor dogs that lived with me (because their owners were my roommates haha). And my last year of college I co-parented a puppy and raised it in our college home. I also have two cats, one of which is the mother of the other. I started taking care of her since she was a stray cat and later gave birth her son. They both are now living indoors at my parents' home and with me occasionally. I've also taken care of and had fish too. I am a pet advocate! I understand the need to constantly know how things are going with those you love and so I prioritize keeping you updated how ever often you like. I can send pictures and video chat as well. :)

Allison is great! She was with us for a while, watching simba when needed. She is really reliable, trustworthy and best of all our dog loved her!

Allison is an absolutely amazing sitter. This was our second time using her and I didn't think I could be more impressed after last time, but she continues to surpass expectations. Allison has a VERY high attention to detail. If you want your home taken care of with the amount of care that you would probably maintain yourself- this is the sitter for you!! She took the initiative to vacuum our main living space multiple times a day. I couldn't believe it. We didn't even ask her to do this! Every day she's there, she reports back in detail about what the dogs did and didn't do. She takes tons of photos! And you can feel that she really cares for your dogs which is super important while you're away. Finally... I am way too wordy and always give way too many instructions. Allison handles this with ease. She is obviously really intelligent and follows everything to a tee. She even has the insight to come to certain conclusions on her own, which seems "normal" but you'd be surprised out of all the sitter's we've used she's really the only one who seems like she can put things together on her own. No matter how many tasks I'd give her, she's always respond that it was no problem. I trust Allison more than any sitter I've ever used and that's saying something!! Because we've used a lot. I highly HIGHLY recommend.

I absolutely love this woman!! My husband and I wanted to try house sitting since we've always had our three dogs go to the sitter's house in the past, but it just wasn't working out for our recent trip. Not only has she totally sold me on house sitting, but she very well might be my favorite sitter that I've ever used! And I've had some wonderful sitters before. Allison is organized, reliable, thorough, caring and obviously intelligent. The eldest of our three dogs recently had some medical issues, and we were really worried about leaving him. Sure enough, Allison gave us numerous updates on his condition throughout the day and she responds very quickly to messages. I immediately felt like we were in great hands, and had no more worries about how our little guy was going to be. Allison sent us many photos and video, (even photos of her sitting on the floor with our babies!) which was also reassuring. It's not easy to open your home for someone to come in and out when you're not there, but it's great being able to know that your pups are comfortable while you're gone because they don't have the added element of being somewhere unfamiliar. And if you go with Allison, any anxiety you have about that will disappear almost immediately. Her pricing is also VERY reasonable, as we shopped around for a while and found that some house sitters charge as much as people who board the dogs in their own homes (kinda ridiculous in my opinion)! I plan to utilize her services for many trips to come!!
