Working with horses, I’ve developed a patient and calm disposition towards aggressive or scared behaviors. I try not to overwhelm any animal, and allow them to grow accustomed to my presence before I take part in whatever needs to be done.

I need to know how they how they react with strangers. If you’re not sure how they’ll react or you know they won’t like a stranger in their home it might be best to meet them while the parent/owner is present so I’m not completely a stranger when it’s just myself.
A typical day
I spend my mornings with extra snuggles before breakfast then give them a little time to digest before activities begin. Depending on the energy of the animal, I either play with them or I play the tv/spotify so that they have something that will entertain them. Just being around the animal and loving on them is a big part of taking care of them as their parent is away.

My whole life I’ve always owned rescues. Dogs and cats, you name it. I’ve also ridden horses my entire life as well. And as of currently I own 3 cats. About 5 years ago was when I actually started profiting of of my ‘babysitting’. I’ve taken care of all sorts of dogs, small to large. No breed scares me, and large animals do not scare me either. I have walked, bathed, fed, played, and have cleaned up after pets.

Allison has lived with & cared for cats & dogs her entire life. She began riding horses When she was 6 years old and has a horse named Birdie whom she loves very much. Allison understands animals and their needs both emotionally and physically. She is fun and loving when she has taken care of my pets. Allison notifies me right away if she observes something may be off with my dogs and cats, and I appreciate knowing she is observant and communicates well which means everything to a pet owner.
