Growing up I wanted to be a vet! I was in FFA and agriculture in high school, as well as a small animal care class. I have worked in three grooming salons as a bather, and one boarding facility as a kennel tech. I studied Animal Science at McNeese State for two years before transferring to Sowela. I have a cat (Jade, 11 years) and a dog (Rhodie, 3 years). Unlike many others, I am able to give medicine and shots (like insulin) to pets with ease. I have been a pet sitter since before I started middle school, so I’m very familiar with their needs!
