Hello! My name is Allison and I absolutely love animals! I have only been working with animals for about 6 years of professional experience but I have about 11 years of experience with my own dogs and 15+ years with cats! I have experience working with dogs of all breeds, sizes and temperaments. I have worked with cats as well. I am planning on going to school this fall for animal care and vet. tech! Eventually I would like to be an animal behaviorist and dog trainer, and rehabilitate rescue dogs before they go to their fur-ever homes. Over the past years I had been working as a Pet Care Specialist at Petsmart's Petshotel, running doggy day camps and taking care of the dogs in their care during the day and some overnights! I loved the dogs there and miss them every day! And have worked at a doggie daycare in middleton as well. I currently work as a part time keyholder at a store in the north shore mall. I would be more then happy to keep a record of me and your pets activity on a daily basis and write you a report care for every visit! I will be happy to take your pooch to the local park for a nice long walk or even around your neighborhood. If and when you choose me to be your new dog sitter/walker, you will know that your pup will be taken care of, spoiled rotten, and treated extremely well. I treat all pups like they are family! Also if your pooch is in need of a bath, I am more then willing and able to wash and blow dry them for you! I promise to treat you and your dog like family! And I have had 5 cats, at one time, over the past 10 years, and 3 of them, Bella, Bailey and Mable are still happy and purring away in the sun whenever they get the chance! And I also help watch my older sisters' dogs, Logan, a 6 year old yorkie, and Jax, a 5 year old pomeranian! They are awesome nephew puppies! I worked at Petsmart in their PetsHotel, I took care of dogs of all different kinds of breeds and sizes! I ran doggy day camp/care and boarding. I fed, gave oral medications and eye/ear medications when necessary, and cleaned up after the dogs. And when needed I would bathe them. I worked with a few dogs that had some behavioral issues, such as door/kennel aggression and general anxiety, and there was a lot of improvement when i started working with them. Why I love dog sitting I have always been a dog lover! When I was a little kid I would ask for a puppy for Christmas and my birthday, every year. I grew up watching a ton of animal planet, soaking up as much information I could on breeds, personalities and temperaments as I could! While I was in high school my mom got us a dog, Daisy, a mini schnauzer/bichon mix, and she's a great addition to the family. Now she's 7 years old and bosses around her younger cousins, Logan (Yorkie) and Jax (Pomeranian) whenever they have play dates. Whenever my older sisters go out of town I'm the first person they call to watch their furry babies! My experience administering medication I'm very comfortable doing oral medications, pills and liquids, as well as any ear or eye drops. I will be learning in the next few weeks how to do shots.
