My name is Allison! I am a Birmingham native and a life-long animal lover, with two cats (Emmie and Jagger) and my family's dog (Ruby). I grew up with many animals as pets, with multiple cats, my first dog Angel, and even a bird! I enjoy being outside in nature, whether that's a stroll around the block, a trip to the hiking trails, or a play date at the park. I have been pet sitting and volunteering at animal shelters since high school, so I have experience with cats and dogs of various breeds and sizes. I make every effort to be as accommodating as I can and am happy to send you pictures or videos of your pet during my walks, play dates, or house sitting stays. I am compassionate, responsible, and eagerto meet your pet's needs! I love all types of pups and kitties and will truly treat your fur baby as my own. Allison is an amazing pet sitter! She was super flexible when I had to switch my plans around last minute. She made extra sure my cat was doing well while I was away. She also left my home clean and tidy and she asked questions if and when my instructions weren’t clear which I’m super grateful for. Allison is the best and I will absolutely book her again the next time I have to leave my fur babies for a trip!
Allison did such a great job watching over our cats and house. She was quick to respond, polite, gave our cats love / attention, and provided updates during our vacation. I highly recommend her if you need someone to watch over animals or house sit.

Allison was an angel with my 2, who can be a handful on walks. Of course they behaved better for her than they do for me! She handled the pulling like a pro. Total dog whisperer. She was prompt and friendly and my 2 just loved her and were so excited to see her drive up! Allison is on the top of my list!

I pay special attention to preferences for praise and physical touch as well as what kinds of toys/treats your pet likes, any dietary restrictions or special feeding schedules, typical potty breaks, comfort level riding in a car, social level of the animal or if they prefer solo time/play, and favorite activities or games.
A typical day
I like to tailor activities and outings to each dog's interests and activity level. For quick walks, I usually take dogs around their own neighborhood. I also enjoy taking pups to the dog park, local parks or walking trails, or out and about to dog-friendly outings. We play fetch, chase, frisbee, or special toys (like treat or puzzle toys) for dogs that may need some extra mental stimulation to keep from being bored.
