I have had dogs my entire life. My family is fond of miniature schnauzers, so that's what I know best. However, I know about a number of breeds. I love learning from others about their dog breed. I also love picking up new information from the Westminster Dog Show. I started caring for my neighbors' dogs in high school (both in situations when they went on vacation or when they had a busy work week). I have also cared for my sister's dogs (rescue Australian cattle dogs). I understand the complexities of rescue dogs. Also, my sister used clicked training with them and taught me how to maintain the training. I have cared for a number of dogs (both from Rover and for friends). Thus, I have experience with various breeds (ex: wheaton terrier, springer spaniel, fox terrier, lab, retriever, dachshund, maltese, beagle, leonberger, German Shepherd, pitbull mixes, poodle, etc.). I also have experience caring for cats. I have provided care in the past for small animals (rabbit, Guinea pig, gerbil, small birds, etc); it has been a while but I'm sure with a brief refresher, it would all come back to me.
