‼️NOTICE: I will be ending my services November 2024, to focus full-time on my education. Please keep this in mind before requesting any bookings this year. 💉 COVID-19 Vaccinated 💉 I am a college student looking to help those who need someone to not only watch over their pets but to love and take care of them while the owners are away! I have taken care of multiple dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and breeds over the years. I truly want to make every animal feel comfortable and loved when their owners are gone. I will walk with, talk with, and play with your dog until they are tuckered out at the end of the day. I am also comfortable dropping in on any other pets that may be in the home including cats, reptiles, insects, and rodents. ❗ Make sure to check my availability dates for any of my services before requesting a booking, to make it easier for both of us to know whether I am able to help you. As long as you request me with enough time beforehand, I am willing to work out a schedule with you to meet your needs so that I can provide my best service! ________________________________

This was our first time having Allison watch our dog. This was for a home stay of a few days. She was very responsive during the scheduling process and arrived right on time. Our dog who can take a while to be comfortable with people warmed up to Allison very quickly. We also had scheduled a drop-in prior to this stay to go on a walk and get everyone familiar. Allison sent us one communication each day. Our dog very much appreciated having someone to hang around with and we appreciated having someone in the home to take care of her and who responded quickly during the stay as well.
Allison did a wonderful job taking care of our 3 dogs. We had never left our dogs with anyone and she made the first time a breeze. She house sat and took care of everything while we were away. I would highly recommend Allison.

Allison was amazing! I was thrilled to hear that Olive actually ate in front of her - given her typical tortie attitude... I could my cats would be in good hands - the photos were truly appreciated and left me feeling very confident that the trip would go well. I will certainly be booking with Allison again in the future!

I always make sure to stay with the schedule of the owners, so the dog isn't too thrown off by my arrival at the house. I always want to make sure the pets are as comfortable and relaxed as possible, and keeping to their usual routine is almost always the best way to keep them happy!

- How does your pet react to meeting new people and new animals? - What is your daily schedule for your pet? (I wish to follow it as closely as I can!) - Does your pet have any fun or interesting quirks I should keep an eye out for? - Does your pet have any illness or health concerns I should know about? I would love to set up a Meet & Greet so that your pet becomes comfortable with my presence, you can show me around the house, and we can talk in more detail about the needs of your pet before I officially take care of them!
A typical day
I enjoy involving your pets in a wide range of activities including going out onto walks or nearby hiking trails, relaxing at home watching movies, or taking them out to parks so they can socialize and play with other pets! For high-energy pets, I will take them out on multiple jogs throughout the day or have them play with any toys you have to get their minds focused on the task (and treats) in front of them. For calm, older pets who aren't as active as they used to be, I can easily wind down with them on the couch and help them rest their old joints with gentle pets, scratches, and even the occasional massage.

Availability
I am currently going to community college, with a mix of online and on-campus courses. I am able to easily take care of pets as long as I have internet access to continue my studies while in the home. But there will be periods of time I need to be outside of the home to go to class, and I will make sure to let you know what those time periods may be each day. As long as the dog is comfortable with me leaving the house for 3 to 5 hours for class time during the day, then I have no issues at all being there with your dog or pet 24/7 the rest of the day.
