Hello! My name is Allie and my husband's name is Ivan. We are passionate about personalized care for every dog. I have owned dogs my entire life spanning from a dachshund named Lizzie to my current 60 pound German shepherd mix Raya. I have cared for horses and farm animals and fostered dogs through the SPCA . I am currently pursuing my PhD at NC State, and my husband works from home 3 days a week giving us a flexible schedule for pet care. We welcome all dog breeds, ages, sizes, and temperaments and can handle dogs with special medical needs. Our previous dog Nala, who passed in Sept 2022, had a rare autoimmune disease that required a strict medication schedule and feedings to be done in a high chair. We have one dog in the house and support slow introductions between dogs, but our dog can be kept separate from your pet if necessary. We do require that your pet be crate trained and house trained if staying in our home. Pets are part of your family, and I will treat them as if they are part of my family. My goal is to make sure your mind is at peace knowing your pet is cared for and loved in your absence. As a pet owner myself, I understand the stress that can come with leaving your pet under someone else's care.
