Hi! My name is Allie and I currently work as a Kennel Assistant at a vet clinic in Lake Oswego. At my job I care for cats and dogs who are recovering post-surgery, our dozens of daycare dogs, and our animals boarding while their families are on vacation. My work requires extreme attention to detail regarding dietary restrictions, allergies, medication applications, aggressive behavior, and just generally keeping up with every individual animal's health and happiness while they stay in our kennels. I've interacted with a wide variety of dog and cat personalities, breeds, and temperaments. I've been caring for animals my entire life. I grew up in a family with two dogs, four cats, two parakeets, an aquatic turtle, and an assortment of koi fish. Additionally, I've house and pet sat for my neighbors multiple times. I'm especially good with shy and senior animals and have the patience needed to make any pet feel safe when their family is away.
