A dog lover since day one, I have a soft spot in my heart for dogs of all ages and sizes. My childhood dog Bowser was a Black Lab/German Shorthaired Mix, so talk about energetic! Growing up with him, I have experience with large dogs at all ages and especially grew my affection towards senior dogs during Bowser's last few years. I loved taking him for runs through the neighborhood or walks through the parks in his younger years, and I gained the experience to tend to a senior dog's medication and exercise requirements in his later years. I do not have a dog of my own these days, but I was lucky to have a roommate last year while living in San Francisco who had two dogs (an energetic Lab/Hound mix and senior Lhasa Apso) that I would frequently dog sit and take for walks (or runs), and of course give extra love to when she was out of town. Nowadays, I am in my second year of a PhD program at University of Michigan and reside in the north side of Ann Arbor. I recently took in my parents' cat Riikka, whom I love very much. I would love to meet your dogs or cats and provide for them the special care they need!
