*I am not available 9-5 Monday through Friday due to my other job!* I grew up with three dogs in my family which it was my job to feed, bathe, take out for walks, give medication to, train, and generally care for. As an adult, I have yet to have a dog of my own because of the difficulty in finding pet-friendly housing, but I would love to have my own as soon as possible. In the mean time, I get my fill of puppy love by spending time with other people's dogs. I spent the whole summer last year house sitting for a family with two dogs, one of which was diabetic and required insulin injections with each meal, so I am comfortable doing things like that if necessary. In terms of other pets, I have extensive experience taking care of both saltwater and freshwater fish of the tropical and non-tropical varieties as well as rabbits and gerbils. I got my Masters of Environment and Sustainability at the University of Michigan in 2019, which required extensive biology, ecology, and general animal knowledge so understanding and caring for animals is not just a hobby for me.
