Pet care experience
I began pet sitting as a young teenager for neighbors and family friends and have continued to pet and house sit as an adult, gaining over ten years of experience. Since one of my favorite pass times is going on long walks, I easily meet the exercise needs of every dog. I am caring and full of energy, and therefore will play as often and show as much love to a pet as it is used to. Additionally, I take excellent care of one's home, leaving it in the same (or better) condition as I when I arrived. I change sheets on the bed, vacuum floors, clean and put away all dishes, and water plants. If requested, I will send photos and reports of your pet, allowing you to have a relaxing and stress free time away knowing your furry friend and home are being well taken care of. I currently am a regular dog sitter for four families and am willing to provide references upon request. I have experience walking dogs of all sizes and a variety of breeds, I am familiar with feeding pets dry, wet, and raw foods, giving pets medicines that they are on (eye drops, oral sprays, pills, and topical creams) and giving baths. I also have experience working for families with more than one dog or other pet. I am reliable, responsible, and love spending time with animals.

Allie is awesome! Great communication and it was super easy to schedule a meet-and-greet. She did great with our rescue dog (who can be wary of new people), and we came home to find him happy as a clam! We will definitely book her again with confidence the next time we need a pup sitter : )
Allie has watched our dogs several times for up to two weeks at a time. Our dogs are always happy to see Allie when she comes over. When we return, the dogs are healthy and happy and the house is just how we left it (or better!). It's clear that she really enjoys taking care of dogs. She makes them her top priority by spending a lot of time with them when she is dog sitting. Allie is also easy to work with--a good communicator, reliable, and responsible.
Allie watched our dog Sam for 5 days this summer. She stayed at our house, and in addition to keeping Sam happy and healthy, she also watered our big vegetable garden, looked after our small flock of chickens, and left our house impeccably clean. She was incredibly considerate about taking care of all of the above, and took time to understand and follow through on all the details that go along with an old house, garden and pets. She touched base via text if there were issues, questions or concerns, and sent a couple friendly notes just to let us know what Sam was up to. On one particular walk Sam nibbled a few too many blades of grass, and got sick on the bed when Allie and Sam got home. Gross as it is to clean up dog vomit, she rolled with it, maintained a good sense of humor, washed all the bedding, and checked in just to make sure there wasn't anything else about his vomiting episode that she should be concerned with. Allie will be our go-to dog sitter (if she's willing) on future out of town trips.
Allie is very dependable and loves all DOGS! She has watched Canyon on multiple occasions while we were out of town. She sends pictures, updates and would reach out to us if she need anything. Our dog is always happy to see her because he knows their are long walks, ear rubs and one on one attention coming his way.
