My husband Ben and I are active professionals in our 30s with a passion for animals and running. I grew up with large breed dogs with over 20 yrs of pet sitting & experience, including obedience training. Ben grew up in a pet-loving household as well. We have a 9 mo. old boy who loves the company of dogs, big and small! Our small, but fenced in backyard Cape Cod home is conveniently located a mile from downtown Morristown with lots of surrounding parks, trails, and sidewalks. So your dog is sure to receive lots of walks and playtime with our active lifestyle! I work retail a few evenings, Thursdays, and weekends, Work is a mile from the house so I have the flexibility to take your dog out for a walk break on Thursdays. Otherwise, there is always an adult present at the house! We also have a rescue cat, Badger, who we call "cat-dog" due to his extremely social and dog-like characteristics. Our cat gets along well with other animals, and we do encourage other cat-friendly dogs to apply, but Badger can be contained to our basement if need be. To ensure your dog feels as comfortable as possible in our home environment and receives adequate attention, we only host 1 dog at a time. We ask for your dog to be baby/kid tolerant, housebroken, and a non-chewer or excessive barker.
