My background includes working as a veterinary assistant, where I gained invaluable experience in animal health and wellness. Additionally, I've served as a kennel worker in a dog rescue, specializing in the care of dogs facing behavioral or health challenges, showcasing my ability to handle complex care requirements with compassion and expertise. My career also spans several years in the pet retail industry, including two years in a management role responsible for the welfare of all animals in the store. This experience has not only deepened my understanding of the diverse needs of various animal species—including dogs, cats, reptiles, small mammals, birds, and both freshwater and saltwater fish—but also honed my skills in creating a nurturing environment for them. I am passionate about animal care, placing the well-being of pets at the forefront of everything I do. My hands-on experience extends to working with animals of all temperaments, including those who are difficult, shy, with cognitive issues, or aggressive. Jade (Allie) was amazing with my cats! I had a short window to find a catsitter and Jade put me at ease with her caring and knowledge of cats. One of my kitties was just getting over a Uti and Jade was extremely diligent in checking on her and giving her meds. She gave me detailed updates and great videos and pictures each visit. I felt very confident in her care of my kitties and trusted her in my (new) home. Will definitely have her back. Highly recommend!
Allie did a great job with our 2 dogs. We would use and recommend her again
Allie was a new pet sitter we found on Rover and she did great with our dogs. Both of our dogs are a little anxious but they warmed up to her quickly. We received updates on how the dogs were during her visits which helped us have a little piece of mind while we were away. We will definitely use Allie in the future!
Allie did a wonderful job with our dogs. She provided feedback when she was there on feedings, bathrooms, etc., sent pictures, and let us know when she was leaving that everything went well. We will most definitely be getting in touch with her on future sittings. Great job Allie!!!
