Pet care experience
I am a huge animal lover, so it makes sense that I went to school to have a career working with them. In May of 2019 I graduated from SUNY Delhi with my associates in Veterinary Science Technology. I took and passed the licensing exam to become a veterinary technician in July 2019. As apart of my school requirements, I took several classes that allowed me to work one on one with both dogs and cats. Now that I am a licensed veterinary technician, I have gained a lot of experience, so I am comfortable around pets of all breeds, age, and health condition. In addition to my animal experience in school and work, I have a senior lab retriever, and 1 year old golden retriever mix, and two ferrets of my own. I hope to meet you and your furry friends soon!

Alley has been dog sitting for me for the past few years. Anytime she comes over my dogs are so happy to see her and she is even happier to see them. You can tell the way she talks about animals and the way she acts around them that she is so passionate about them and cares for them deeply. I’m so lucky to have found such a compassionate care giver for my fur babies!
Alley is going to school at SUNY Delhi, where she will receive her license in veterinary technology in the spring. From there, she is looking to continue her education at veterinary school to become a veterinarian. Alley recently finished an internship at Homestead Animal Hospital in Mechanicville, NY, this past July. They liked her so much that they hired her on the spot after she completed her internship. Alley is a driven young adult who goes above and beyond for any animal as well as anything she does in her daily life. She has two dogs herself that she absolutely loves and spoils every chance she can get. Between having dogs her entire life and going to school to take care of them, Alley has abundant experience and knowledge as well as passion and love to be the perfect dog caregiver. I have known Alley for the past few years and I can tell you she is one of the most trustworthy people you will come across and I would highly recommend her to all of my family and friends!

I have known Alley for many years, her love of my fur babies make me feel absolutely confident that she has taken very good care of them when we have her walk them and when we are away she is my go to person to watch them! I love that she is also a Veterinarian Student, I highly recommend her to all my family and friends!

I would like to know whether or not the dog is up to date with all of its vaccines, especially rabies, the temperament around other people and animals, and if there are any health concerns with the dog.
A typical day
I have several places I take my dogs for walks including a trail near my house and around my neighborhood. If your dog is reactive around other dogs, people, cars, etc. we will find an area that is less busy to make their time with me more comfortable.
