Pet care experience
I am a recent graduate from Berklee College of Music. I teach music lessons to kids in their homes so I'm always traveling all over the city. I love to exercise and run so I can take dogs out with me if they're capable. I live in Cambridge where there are many parks which are great for dog walks! I can only host small/medium dogs in my apartment because I have a cat. My cat, Downy, is very curious and friendly towards dogs (large dogs are just too intimidating for him). I used to walk dogs and care for them in their homes back in my hometown in Rhode Island before I moved to Boston in 2015. I have grown up with both dogs and cats so I can take care of both if needed! I have taken care of dogs through Rover for 5 years now.

Allegra has always been great with my dog, and I feel comfortable having her watch her when I travel or if I work long hours. She's a true animal lover, so compassion comes naturally for her. She spoils my girl with long walks or runs and treats when she obeys a command. I'd definitely recommend her.
Allegra has watched my dog Ralfy a number of times over the past year. Even though I'm not there when she's watching him, I am confident that she is giving Ralfy the best possible care.
Allegra is a treasure! She has a sparkling personality that immediately puts people, and animals, at ease. She has previously helped me with my pup (6 year old Shih-Poo) and I found her to be responsible and personable. Highly recommended! :)

If your pup has any medical issues please let me know! My sister is a vet tech so I learned a lot from her about administering medicine to pets. I have a young cat in my home so if you'd like to dog board, your pet must be good with cats.
A typical day
I love going on long walks. I live close to the Charles River Esplanade which is perfect for dog walks. There are many parks nearby my home as well for pups to play at. I enjoy running so if your dog is capable, I can take them on runs with me!

Availability
I'm currently working part time so I have plenty of time to play with your dog! During the week I'm home until mid to late afternoon. In the evenings I teach music lessons for a couple hours in Boston and get home by 7pm. Weekends I don't work so I have the most availability to care for your pet.
