Pet care experience
I have been caring for dogs professionally for about three years. I do part-time walking, and dog sitting in my clients homes. I love dog walking because it allows me to explore our beautiful Bay Area in the company of its very sweetest furry residents. I love all dogs, and especially have a knack for the big sensitive types who require a little extra care. My strong but very calm personality makes me especially attuned to dogs who may be fearful of other dogs or new people and situations.

We had the pleasure of having Aliza help us with our big boy (1year9month 150 lbs Bullmastiff) on Sunday December 4th and again she did an outstanding job. Solo was happy and comfortable with her and he does really well with Aliza because of her calm and assertive energy. We truly love the care Aliza gives to our big boy and we highly recommend her! Aliza helped us with our doggie Solo this past Sunday and she was great with him. He is a bullmastiff so he is a big boy at 150 lbs and only 1 year and 7 months so lots of bursts of puppy energy at times but Aliza handled him well and we look forward to having her help us again in the future if she is available. Aliza was great with my two little ones! We had a great meet and greet and I felt very comfortable with her. My landlords live right upstairs and were very impressed with her attention to the pups and well she cared for them. I came home to very happy and tired pups! I would use her again!!!

Does your dog have any food or other known allergies? Is s/he sometimes fearful of unknown people, other dogs, skateboards or bikes (etc.)? Does your dog exhibit resource guarding behavior around food or toys? What is the name and location of your veterinarian in case of emergency? I enjoy spending time with dogs of all breeds, but especially enjoy large breeds. PLEASE NOTE: due to a severe allergy I can not pup sit if your dog(s) have feline siblings.
A typical day
Once your dog and I have established a good working relationship, I love to provide them with off-leash time to run around and smell everything. I enjoy taking advantage of the many beautiful parks we have in the East Bay, especially Joaquin Miller, Redwood Regional, and Sibley Volcanic Preserve. For pups who don't have good recall or whose parents have other concerns, I happily provide on-leash neighborhood walks. PLEASE NOTE: due to an ever changing schedule, I am not available for on-going regular walks. If you have an occasional or short-term need for walks, I will do my best to accommodate your pup as my schedule allows.
