I love dogs of all kinds and think of them like people—each with their own personalities and quirks! Cultivating a bond with each individual dog is both exciting and rewarding. Each moment spent with your pet will be cherished and special for both of us! What that translates to is endless playtime, scratches, cuddles, and LOVE; at the end of the day, that’s really all our furry friends want. As for myself, I am young, strong, and athletic—no dog is a challenge! I would be willing to do many types of activities with your pet, including running, hiking, etc. If you think it, I can do it. If your dog has any special needs, I’d be happy to assist with ensuring their health and safety while you are away from home.

Outstanding. Prompt, responsible, and communicative
Alix has been fabulous! I have a blind rescue who can be a bit prickly, and he took to her immediately. She has been coming almost every weekday to let him walk and play. She sends me pictures and updates me on his progress, which gives me peace of mind during the day. She asked for written instructions to be left and she has done a great job of making sure my little guy is settled for the afternoon before she leaves. She was even willing to help me with some crate training while she’s here! I trust my dog with her and her with my dog, and it really is a wonderful feeling when you work all day and want your dog to be okay.
Alice is wonderful. She took Charlotte on her first leash walk ever, before Charlotte had any training. It went extremely well, beyond my expectations for my first time hiring a walker from Rover.com ... Alice was well familiar to all the proper handling techniques and terminology. Charlotte was very responsive to Alex including the commands, eager to please Alix, Alice commented. As if the puppy was already trained for walking. That only happens with a professional when Puppy/Walker have great chemistry. Kudos for Alice! Seriously, I felt completely at ease with her service. A nice match. Thank you, Jan Gonzales.
Alix is a very responsible and caring individual towards animals and humans alike. Her gentle nature and nurturing spirit makes her a perfect candidate to watch over your fur child. Alix has always had a loving touch for animals as she has been a cat and dog owner before. This makes her extra experienced, educated, and qualified to handle anything that may arise.

Before sitting a dog, all I need to know is a little about their daily routine at home. How active is your dog? How often do you typically let them out to use the restroom? Etc. I would want to be aware of your dog’s normal behaviors so that I can mold myself to fit—and prevent any potential problems with your pet. I do not have any breed preferences, I love my furry friends in all shapes and sizes!
A typical day
I grew up outdoors, so taking a dog for a walk in the park or a hike in the mountains is what I would do best! However, I would be just as happy walking your dog wherever is most comfortable for you and your pet, even if that means just in your own neighborhood! If your dog has any sort of favorite activities such as fetch (frisbee, toys, etc) or agility training, that would be more than catered to!
