I grew up with a dog and was around dogs on my grandparents farm every summer and fall It seemed like someone was always getting another dog or puppy. Coming from a big family it was really wonderful to see all the joy dogs gave us. As an adult I have owned two amazing Shepherd mixes. I still have Onyx my 4 year German short hair mix. She keeps me active and on my toes. Always in the mood to play with the frisbee or a ball. The past five years I have watched as small as a Westie to a German shepherd with special needs. I can’t get enough of meeting new dogs and getting them out on a hike or to socialize at a park with other dogs and people.
