Hi! My name is Alix and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE ANIMALS! I’ve grown up always having all types of animals around, from dogs to rabbits and ferrets. I have experience with dogs of all sizes from Pomeranians to Rottweilers and I’ve worked with a nonprofit fostering dogs in the past. My fiance and I recently rescued an adorably sweet Lab and she gets along with everyone! I work from home so I set my own hours and I am very flexible with my schedule. I can update you with pictures and videos if you’d like and I will make sure your fur baby is well taken care of and loved while you are away! Alix was amazing for my recent four day trip out of town. I got daily photos and updates. She was a true professional and treated my fur babies like they were hers. Will definitely use her again!! ♥️
Alix is absolutely someone you want taking care of your pets. She is a caregiver through and through. Her love and attention for all living things will be blatantly obvious when you meet her; and yes it does extend beyond people and animals - she's got a green thumb to lend if you're leaving some plants behind for an extended period. Alix had pets in her household from before she can remember and they ranged from dogs of all sizes, fish, bunnies, ferrets, you name it. She's naturally gentle and welcoming, and she knows how to show that she is in charge if your dog isn't really a fan of listening to strangers. Seriously, she's got the magic touch when it comes to caring for basically anything (although I'll say it for her now, no snakes please) so you most definitely cannot go wrong by contacting Alix and having her meet the fur fam.
Alix is incredibly caring and that quality extends beyond humans. My own dog, Maisy, is just as important to me as any other family member that I hold near and dear to my heart, so I do not trust her with just anyone. Alix has been my go-to person whenever I've needed someone to take care of her. She is very patient and nurturing. Not only has she taken care of my own dog, but she has stepped up to help out with some of the dogs I've fostered. She navigates different dogs personalities very well and she genuinely cares about them being comfortable with her and their surroundings. She definitely has the experience and character required to watch our furry loved ones!
