Pet care experience
I have had cats and a dog since the day I was born. Throughout high school I began pet sitting for neighbors and family members. I currently have three cats of my own , and have been working in the marine mammal field for 6 years. I am now a seal and sea lion trainer as my full time career. I also have experience taking care of fish, birds, and small mammals.

Alix was great when she watched my dog and cat. She treated them like her own and gave me tons of updates. She even went above and beyond and offered to drip my faucets overnight when temperatures fell below freezing!
Alix was fantastic and so easy to work with. She worked though a stuck door to get my boys the care they needed!
Way over due on this but Alix was great with our dog she took excellent care of her and treated her like the queen she thinks she is.
Alix took good care of my cat, Charlie, for five nights in January. She sent pictures when she could for my Charlie likes to stay secluded from guests and spends a good bit of time under the bed. Before taking the job, Alix came to our home to meet us and Charlie. We very much appreciated her visit. We will ask Alix to care for Charlie in the future.

I like to know a lot about the dog’s personality and preferences to their day to day life. I always want to start off on the right foot when taking care of new animals.
A typical day
I love making new enrichment for dogs since they are so interactive. Mental stimulation is just as important as physical exercise. Dog parks and walks around the neighborhood are a very common thing I like to do. I also do love playing fetch!
