I love all animals but have a special affinity for dogs. I've owned dogs, fostered a few, and volunteer at the Berkeley Humane Society regularly. My favorite part about taking care of dogs is how they remind me of the simple joys in life. I can't currently own one, so I look forward to taking care of your furry friend to compensate for this! I do work full-time, but I'm available early mornings, evenings, and most weekends. I occasionally work from home, and would be available on those days to petsit and do day-time walks. I live close to hiking trails in Berkeley, and love taking dogs out for nature walks! While on walks, I aim to teach dog walk manners and reward with whatever motivates the dog (usually small treats). My volunteering at Berkeley Humane has come with some dog behavioral training.
