Pet care experience
My name is Alix and I have been around animals all my life. My mother owns a pet store in Westwood NJ, which I currently work at 3 days a week. The other days I am creating and selling handmade jewelry from home. My boyfriend and I have two Rhodesian Ridgebacks, a cat, and 7 chickens. We are both big animal lovers and constantly have friends and family's dogs staying with us. Lots of love to give and both have plenty of experience with different types of dogs and all sorts of situations. We have a nice fenced in backyard and are off the main road on a dead end. Our street meet up with ramapo state Forrest so hikes are always in the cards for us and our furry companions.

My experience with Alix was very positive. We had the meet and greet a few weeks before willows stay. The meeting was also very positive with Alix's dogs and cats. We were very comfortable leaving Willow with Alix , you could just tell she and John are animal lovers. I was happy to find her it was one less thing we had to worry about while getting ready for my daughters wedding..
Alix and John were amazing! They took great care of my German Shepherd Charlie and sent us some videos of him running around with his new rhodesian ridgeback friends :) . Also they have an awesome backyard for dogs to run around in. Nice people, flexible and very responsive - i highly recommend!
I got married this past weekend, and about a month before my wedding my dog sitter could no longer take care of my dog. I looked at a few places and people and decided to contact Alix. We met for a meet and great, and Luna was very excited! Luna stayed this past weekend and she had a BLAST! When she came home, we was pooped and slept all day and all night! Alix was great with her! She gave us photo updates so that we weren't wondering! By the last night, Luna warmed up and was a snuggle bug! Since we got back home with Luna, she's been so sad! She had so much fun, she didn't want to leave! I would recommend Alix's services to everyone!
Highly recommend Alix for dog sitting! Reached out to her two days prior to needing someone all while not certain our plans to go away would happen. She quickly agreed to watch our dog if I was able to get off work. She was great with keeping my wife happy with photos of our dog throughout our trip. Their house is the perfect setting for animals! It will Make you think that while you are on vacation that your dog is also on vacation with their yard, dogs, and wildlife. Once again, Alix comes with the highest recommendation I can offer.
